Tim Sherman has been teaching guitar and stringed instruments to students of all ages in the greater Seattle area since 1987...celebrating 30 years of helping students have fun with music. I offer instruction on acoustic and electric guitar, ukulele and plectrum / tenor banjo for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. Styles include popular, rock, blues, jazz, folk, country, oldies, easy campfire strummin' tunes, soloing, sight reading, tabs, songwriting and more!

The difference with my lessons is I teach students with the music they love. I also individualize lessons for the way each student learns best--no cookie cutter teaching. Group classes can't offer the same level of instruction.
I believe that students become better musicians and develop a life long love of music when individual learning skills and tastes are respected.
